I have a 2009 Hunter 38. Looking to install a Northern Lights 6KW generator. (M673L3). Does anyone have this model of generator in their Hunter 38? Will it fit? If so, I would appreciate any pics you would have to help me with my install. Especially interested in the generator base mounting in the space recommended byHunter under the starboard rear seat.

Buy a Honda 2000 and keep it simple and also save $10K. We have one on Ahoy Mon our 2006 Hunter 38 and it is great.
Thanks for the advice. The Honda gets stored in my aft locker. It will not provide me with the safety, security, current, and convenience of a built in generator, but a great back up.
It also looks like if I can install this particular model of generator it will cost around $15,000 cdn installed by myself. Im sure I have heard of this generator installed in other 38s.

Try a Fisher Panda and they smaller foot print and quiet,I have
the FP 4200 in my 2007 H-36.
