The bay looks shallow, does the chop come up quickly?

I think it is actually too shallow to really develop anything serious. My boat is small enough and low enough that we get pushed around a little and we will be wet. The larger boats may not be affected very much. This will be a more or less typical day on the Bay with the ankle biters marching northward. Ward was commenting that we will be sailing 3 or 4 miles into the wind to get home, or motoring, if we want to get there!
