Sorry for this, I'm having trouble finding an answer:

What socket size do I need for the nut securing the pulley on a small frame alternator, like Delco?

Thanks,

jv

15/16 six point socket on an impact driver. If it has been on there a while hit it with a little PB Blaster or Kroil...

Thanks. Not sure my electric impact driver is up to the task, it's one of those 18V, 1/4" drive units; but, I'll try it first. Failing that, a breaker bar. I'll remember to do this first, before removing the belt! Pretty sure I have that socket.

Some auto part stores may have it available as a loaner tool
Yeap, pretty sure AutoZone does that. Others may also.

I got a wheel puller for pulling my brother's wheel to install an autopilot on his boat a couple years ago. No problem.
