When we sailed into Gibraltar, there was a private vessel with a helicopter on her after deck. We were told it was owned by an arms dealer. Not nearly as big as the one depicted in the posted article.
I've always said my goal was to live like a James Bond villain.

Decades ago, a friend's daughter was hired as a "friend" for a wealthy yacht owner's daughters. They had a support vessel that traveled with them.

My support vessel is a friend with a boat traveling in tandem. Social Security is not enough to pay for much more.

And so far the lottery has not been very supportive.

Well that depends on the number and size of the toys you have and how much rum you need to carry. I've always found that the rigging gets in the way of the helicopter, so its good to have a boat with a clear deck.
