Fuel gauge not working

Does it show empty when full and full when empty, or is there no reading at all?
*Usually*, if there is no reading it's the tank sensor. You can replace that here: Hunter Tank Monitors
The sensor fails far more often than the gauge so we recommend replacing that first. There's probably a way to diagnose the problem more effectively with a multimeter but that's above my pay grade.
If the reading is backward, it means you have a US meter and a European sensor.

That is a Wema meter now KUS. The older models, like the one I had, was a Float problem.
The coating on the Float failed slowly and it soaked up Diesel and stop "floating" on the diesel fuel level.
This was fixed with the new design sold here at Hunter Tank Monitors
Most likely the USA standard, when Tank is really empty, you have a LIVE Zero.

- American Standard 240-33 ohms (240 ohms at empty, 33 ohms at full)
- European Standard 0-180 ohms (0 ohms at empty, 180 ohms at full)
