Has anyone enlarged or added port lights or fixed acrylic panels to introduce more daylight to the H44 aft cabin?

I thought about for a minute on the H-34 to get more light in the aft cabin.. then I realized that the plexi would have to be recessed from the outside to keep any errant dock boards from peeling it off.. Would require a bit of glass work to get the outer surface of the glass flush with the outer surface of the hull.. Not an insurmountable job, but not trivial by a longshot.

yep, my concern as well. Definitely a boatyard remodel as compared to a dIY job in the slip
