Hello sailors , I am considering converting the original two blade prop on a 1980 Westerly Conway to a MaxProp. it's advertised as increasing control and maneuvering, something of particular benefit to me. If you have one, how do you like it?

i have a beneteau Oceanis400 1993 with a Perkins prima 50 and 17in max prop (3 blade feathering). At 2800 rpm, which is high, I can only motor at 5.8knots in flat water. I've adjusted the pitch to the highest recommended by the manufacturer. The engine gets to 2800 easily. Any ideas?

Hello folks, We have a new-to-us 2002 386. Under sail, we lose a full knot when the prop is locked. When left to spin, we are far faster. So, what I want to ask is: Does anyone else record this outcome? My owner's manual does not tell me if it should be locked or free, or am I missing...

Has anyone tried cutting/trimming the blades of KiwiProp to shorten it? I've damaged all 3 ends of the 16" blades and thinking of cutting the damaged portion away. Also shorter blades means I've scope to adjust the pitch. As it is now mine is set to lowest angle (18deg). So I suppose hack saw...
