I’m restoring a 1980 H30 and would like to find a shift lever that’s all there. Here’s what mine looks like. It’ll probably work, but it looks like hell. TIA

One of mine looked like that ! I took the shaft off and took it to a welding shop that was able to rebuild the end to make it look like the other one. (I brought the other to show them). Then took both to a motorcycle chrome shop who rechromed them. That was several years ago and they still look like new. Expensive yes but totally worth it !

@Harbourboy Have you identified the maker of the binnacle? Your part looks similar to my Yacht Specialities parts. I learned this because the label on my wheel nut states that it is a Yacht Specialties rig.
Perhaps looking online for such parts might find a what you speak.
My parts appear to be a cast handle with the word “shift” inscribed.
Looking at them the past week I conjecture that removed the handles could be chromed and retuned to the boat.
Here is an eBay link to an example. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Merriman-Y...ash=item1ccf52f518:g:qpUAAOSwrm5cRfJN&vxp=mtr
