Always put 2clamps on all my thru hull water hoses
Do you put 2clamps on your fuel lines from tank to filter etc.

Yes, When ever it permits. Double clamp everything. Extra security. Why take a chance. Especially on a fuel hose. The fines and clean up cost vs a $2.00 clamp.
I'll pay for the clamp.

Spend the extra money and use a smooth clamp, not a cheap HW store clamp with the slots cut in it. The slots cut into the hose and some parts of the SS clamp aren't SS.

Dave is CORRECT.

I only use ABA heavy duty 316 S.S. solid strap hose clamps. Fuel/water/thru-hull you name it.

The bands are solid, much thicker & most of all, it's 316 Stainless & not 304.
304 stainless has more carbon, thus more susceptible to rust & corrosion &
FAILURE!
