Beneteau 473 (2001) Electrical Buss behind the Main panel

Upgrading the VHF and can't figure how to get the old wires to release from the Buss thing. The manual only gives circuit numbers but give no mention of this Buss device; between the circuit breaker panels a the wiring harness in the boat.

They are likely WAGO electrical connectors. You use a tool to release the wire clamp.

What Gunni said. I've used a screwdriver to release wires. Probably not as good of a fit as their special tool, but just to release wires it worked well enough.

The “buss” panel is a series of WAGO blocks, some of which are jumpered so that a single wire is branched from the breaker to a couple of devices for example. As said, the wires are push fit into the blocks. Simple enough to use a narrow bladed screwdriver in the opening above the wire insertion point and push in to either release an existing wire or insert a new one. Once you figure it out, its pretty easy.
