Hull Identification Number

I recently acquired a 1977 Lancer 25 and with checking with the local DNR a Office on the registration has been only registered and never had a Title and the Registration Card does not show any HIN. Now my question is about the HIN, from what I read there should only be 12 characters in the HIN but this Hull has 13 characters pressed into the fiberglass hull, I know the first three are the manufacturer ID,( LYP ), and that's correct and that the last four are the date of manufacture, ( 0777 ), and that also is correct. I have read there is a second HIN number somewhere inside used verification purposes, does anyone know it's location or where to look for it?

Confidential HINs were not required prior to August 1, 1984.

Thanks for the info Benny17441, now I just need to resolve the difference of how many characters in the HIN, but they're pressed into the hull, thanks again. Since the original post I also found in the older forum post's that others also have 13 character HIN
