Swing keel cracks

Ok guys. I did have a local fiberglass/boat specialty shop refinish the keel. I finally got to take her out yesterday and had a great day. This morning I was checking out the keel and it’s already showing signs of wear. Is this normal or something I should take it back to them for?

Take her back. (My opinion) The fiberglass mat was not fully saturated. You can see the strands. That is going to draw water in time. You should also get a coat of barrier epoxy paint and bottom paint over the repair.

I am kinda a newb around here.....but a magnet wont stick to cast iron or lead, will it?
