Sue says she's taking me out for date night tonight ... won't tell me where we're going. Hmmm ...
Love me some Shailene Woodley! (Don't worry, Sue already knows)

Going with a group of sailors tonight. Higher hopes than All is Lost.

Sounds like a fun idea. Tell us what you use for a projector and how it goes.

I've been at sea for two weeks moving a boat. Is there a new movie to erase my memory of "All Is Lost"?

It was before I was a member of the SOS club, but I heard about the weekend cruise to Pirates Cove Restaurant/Marina in Galesville, MD. There was a retrospective slide show shown on a hoisted main sail. Good, clean presentation, which was a good thing, as the people in the restaurant could see the pics on the back side of the sail!

I've always wanted to use a projector to shoot movies up on a brand New main sail on a winless night
Why not with wind, keep the wrinkles out and the moving movie might catch on.

My son hung a bed sheet out by our old hot tub and figured out how to get the screen projector to project backwards so the projector was on the back side of the screen, shooting out the basement door. No shadow when they stood up to get another beer.

Man, All IsLost is cool man. They decided to omit the parts with the bong, but that sorta explains it. I especially like the part where’s he’s gotta be STONED,turns around and knocks hisself out on his mastpost. Unconscious, man..

Baby has grown up. She develops “the WHOMPER” and it’s the sail which helps her boy friend wind the America’s Cup.

Just saw the trailer.
Storm scenes all computer graphics.
Bad, computer graphics.
Snoozeville.
I can't get into a story where the actress is screaming in make-believe terror at a giant 400 foot tall CG wave. Sorry.

I can watch CG, as long as I don't know that I am.

400 foot wave. Really? 100 feet not terrifying enough?

Check out the trailer.
Depending on the viewer, the wave might range from obviously exaggerated to stupidly hilarious.
And that's in the trailer. They usually try to put the good scenes there.
I haven't seen the movie of course, so I may be premature in presenting a negative commentary.
..... But I have my suspicions...
