So my original cockpit table was designed with brackets to slide onto the pedestal guard. It was never easy to deploy, and it was always too high since it could not be slid down below the instrument pods. When I upgraded and added an additional navpod, it would not work at all.
So, the goal was to remount the table using different hinges and mounts to get the right height and better functionality.
I got some Stainless folding table hinges off Amazon
And attached some one inch tube mounts
Then I test fit to find the best height for the table.
The Hinges and mounts looked like this installed
So now we have a functional table at the right height that stows away nicely
I will probably replace the table top at some point since it looks like someone previously used it as a bait cutting station, and it has some ugly knife cut grooves in the top.
