I'm the owner of a 1980 Sovereign 7.0, which I bought about a year and half ago. I'm a naturally curious person and I found that there wasn't a ton of information about the brand.
I joined the Sovereign Yahoo group, which is largely inactive but does have a lot of information archived among the conversations there. I got the idea to establish a Sovereign Facebook group and we have 46 members, with about a dozen actively contributing.
In any case, I took it upon myself to create a website, a sort of clearinghouse for information about these boats. It's been a blast learning about the history, piecing it together from various sources. The story of the brand, through its various eras, is actually quite interesting.
My purpose here is not to spam up the forum, but rather to provide a resource for any Sovereign owners out there. I've posted a link to this forum on the site as well.
