The rudder on my Catalina30 mk3 TR is saturated and should be replaced or rebuilt. Has anyone used the HDPE rudder from Catalina Direct? Would like to here your experience with installation and performance.

Wow... I guess all the Catalina 30 owners were working on boats for my last post. I would like some advice on the Catalina Direct HDPE replacement rudder. Has anyone got some reviews they would be willing to share?
I’ve had my HDPE replacement rudder since 2012 with absolutely no issues. Slightly different shape reduced weather helm and I have no worry about leakage. Directions suggested a couple small holes at the bottom to be cleared each layup for drainage. Rudder post and parts fully are encapsulated by HDPE so never any corrosion or freeze damage. I wonder why it is not original equipment.
