Does anyone know the 2004, B331 standard two bladed prop size and if it is CW or CCW?
I intend to purchase a feathering three bladed prop, and the manufacturers ask for this info as well as shaft size, which I believe is 25mm.
I don’t know if this is much help but the standard 2 blade on my B323 was 16 x11, rotation counterclockwise when looking at it from the sterm. The boat was US built so the shaft might be one inch rather than 25mm. I haven’t measured it.
I have a 2000 Beneteau 311 which I think is the same physical boat other than the interior layout. I have a Yanmar 2GM20 engine and the prop turns clockwise in forward, just as @arf145 mentioned above.
Here are a couple of reference photos of my prop. Sort of hard to read the info, but might help.
On my Ben 331 from 2001 the factory installed prop. was 16x12RH (clockwise) the engine ia a Volvo Penta 2030 29hp. and shaft is 25mm.
I changed the prop. to a 3 blade VariProfile. and are very happy with the performance, on flat water 1800rpm I go approx 5kn.
