Sailing and Camping April 2017

I had "Kellie Marie" out for a short day sail earlier in the year and took two guests aboard who grew up sailing and know their way around the water but couldn't take the afternoon sun and heat. I had been swapping the bimini off the fishing boat to the C-22 and back again butI finally broke down and bought a brand new bimini and fit it to the boat about a week before I took vacation and went to the lake for a few days.

Nice vid as usual! Does your boat normally have so much lee helm, or is that just when you are sailing with the jib? Around the 7 minute on you can see you constantly pushing the tiller down to keep the bow from falling off.

Great Sailing- Catalina 22 is a great boat, We completely enjoyed ours (Hull #10380) and sailed her 10 years raising our kids and racing her. nice video, clean boat!

Slim, where'd you source the bimini?

Amazon. It's a cheapie but I store it off the boat and figure I can sew a new top for it when it rots away in a couple of years.
