Sure looks wide open without the bulkhead. How long to R&R the bulkhead?

Paul do you have part numbers or supplier for new heat exchanger brackets? Both of mine cracked right by the bolt.

You should get some more paint on that heat exchanger.

Does copper really need paint? Mine (now) has some bare spots as well.

Paint everything! Seriously, though, yes I think it does. It will turn green. Might last forever, but it's corrosion, after all.

15 to 20 minutes..............
I've never looked closely at it (the bulkhead, that is); is it pretty easy to remove? Sure does make working on that side of the engine a whole lot easier!!

I took my bulkhead out to replace the transmission. Most of the trim pieces and screws were easy, but there are a couple of screws that are hidden behind some trim in the head. I ended up splitting a piece of wood trim because I didn't notice these.
I guess it took about an hour to remove, but really opened up the working space.
