Ok, I bought insurance , what do you think?

I looked around and got some quotes having decided on going with my auto - insurer. Here's what I plan to take: $300,000 liability, coverage for the boat and motor, 500 in emergency services, 5000 in medical payments all with a 500 deductable. The total cost is $136./year. What do you think

Low on the liability

Having seem sone rather large settlements I would recommend a minimum of 1 mil in liability preferably 2 mil

I think you're asking the wrong questions?What you need to know is:1. Is the policy an All-Risk policy, or a Named Perils policy?2. Is the policy an Agreed Value policy, or is the company going to pay you what they decide your boat was worth just before its loss?3. Is the policy a Replacement Cost policy, or is the company going to depreciate the amount of any partial loss?4. Can the whole damned policy be voided if you sign a slip contract or racing agreement that contains a Hold Harmless Agreement.Al GoldenIMIS
