"BREEZE WAY" shade net /cloth

I am not sure if it is called BREEZE WAY in America but I am talking about the shadecloth type material that is used as external covers for windows.
I am wondering if anyone has any knowledge or experience with the difference between black and white- I mean - black looks great, but I am worried that it might be hotter than the white or off white. I am thinking of using the 95% material and my wife is worried that the black will make the inside hotter than would white or off white- does anyone have any actual experience in this area please?

I have used the "Bugbusters" companionway screen for several seasons - and have not noticed any difference in temperature with the black material vs an open companionway. I would say you're worrying needlessly! Capt Bill on STARGAZER
