Moorings 60 Jacksonville
Can anyone direct me to the current or previous owner of the Edelweiss or Edelweiss II, last known to be in the Jacksonville, FL area in the mid 1970's-1980's? I am doing a genealogy search and would appreciate any help! Thank you!

Mfg? Length?
It's not in the CG database, which a boat that size probably would be, so it's either in another country or no longer exists.
Or, most likely, the name has been changed long ago.

You might know this already, but the sail number in the picture, 481, probably matches the end of the hull number. The hull number, or HIN, will be part of any registration, and will be a useful addition to search queries.

I had posted a picture of the fragment of the insignia on the sail a while back. A search of sail insignia seemed to point to Moorings.
Here is a Moorings 60 from 1980 on Sailboatdata.com. Edit: the older Moorings was built by Morgan.

The original name of my 1988 C30 Papillon was Edelweiss and we keep the dry-pressed Edelweiss flower that the original owner framed and mounted to pay homage to her original christening. I suspect this might not be the Edelweiss you are looking for.

Sure looks like a modified CSY (Caribbean Sailing Yacht), they were everywhere in the Carib tourist trade back in the day.
