Meth-heads set their Beni ablaze

This happened last October, but I didn't see anything about it then. Two meth-heads set their (what looks to be) Oceanis 393 ablaze when the coasties approached. Expensive way to try and avoid a possession charge.

Good grief. Wouldn't it have been easier to put the crap in a bag, tie something heavy to it and over the side? It's worked for Al Pacino on the big screen.

I laughed at the part in the story where they steered around in circles to make it difficult for the Coast Guard to put out the fire. Unreal...I only feel sorry for the Coast Guard and the Boat!
