Thinking of using a electric floor buffing unit, one of the new generation lite weight with 300 RPM motor. Any thoughts, ideas?

You want to use a lower rpm motor no more than 1000 rpm. Look in the archives under mainsail advice on this but if you will look there is another thread current going on about this.
