Anybody replaced the aft cabin cushions with a low profile air mattress? Seems its would be easier because you could roll it up and store making for easier access to aft cabin. We dont usually sleep there anyway. Would appreciate comments and air mattress recommendations. Are they comfortable?
Thanks

We tent-camped on them for years. Plenty comfortable enough ... except for one time when we sprung a leak, and I woke up at zero dark thirty sleeping on the ground. LOL

In cold temperatures, you will want plenty of insulation between you and the mattress, or it will suck the warmth out of you pretty quick.

I think either a slim air mattress or a memory foam topper is the way i will go. Just trying to decide which would be best. Thanks for any comments.

I actually prefer the rear berth mattress to the forward V-berth

I too like the aft berth but it is a bit cozy in there for me. I went with an air mattress instead of new cushions. It is plenty comfy and especially nice that it is not in the way when working back there.
